With our Legacy Preventative Maintenance module, you could create repeating work orders over a given frequency (daily, monthly, annual, etc.) This way is slowly being removed from UpKeep as we have now moved on to PM Triggers, which are now recurring work orders with more customization.
For info on how to make a PM Trigger click the button below

These steps walk you through how to manage/ stop Legacy repeating work orders with our web application.
Steps:
On your work orders page you will want to filter by the name or number of the work order. Once you have your results, you will need to look for the work order that has a "gray" check box
If you Hover over this box, you should see this message
This is what we call the ROOT work order or the work order furthest in the future.
PLEASE NOTE: Each time you click on and open a work order with a gray check box a new one will generate and show up in your list. This is expected. Follow steps below
2. On this ROOT work order, you will need to follow the details across to the end, where you will see 3 vertical dots. Click on those dots and hit "Delete" (gif below)
3. Once you see the "Are you sure you want to delete this recurring work order?" Message, you click "delete all unsaved repeating" This STOPS the legacy work order from continuing to fire off more work orders and removes any that have not been completed and saved from your list. (gif below)
4. Once that has been done, now you can go through, create this as a NEW PM TRIGGER, and then you can archive or delete the rest of these from your view (gif below)
