How to View All of the Work Orders associated with your Preventive Maintenance Schedules

Want to see the Work Orders generated by a Preventive Maintenance schedule?


When you create a PM schedule in UpKeep, it will automatically generate Work Orders based on the assigned assets and chosen frequency. If you'd like to view those Work Orders directly from the Preventive Maintenance section, this article will show you exactly how to access them—so you can easily track scheduled maintenance and stay organized.


How To View Your Preventive Maintenance Work Orders

  1. From the sidebar, click Preventive Maintenance

  2. Locate the PM you want to review

  3. Click into the PM name to open its detail view

  4. Scroll to the Work Orders tab

What You Can Do from This View

  • Click on a work order to open it directly

  • Track the history of generated WOs from this PM

  • Identify if any WOs were skipped, overdue, or still pending

  • Confirm that the PM is generating work orders on schedule

Each work order in this list is tied to the PM’s trigger and asset assignments
