Closing notes are key to maintaining a clear record of completed work.
When marking a Work Order as complete in UpKeep, you’ll have the option to add a closing note. This is your chance to briefly explain what resolved the issue or highlight any important actions taken.
These notes help keep your team aligned, provide valuable context for future reference, and ensure a full history of the maintenance performed is always available.
How to Add Close Out Notes
Select the Work Order.
Go to the Overview tab.
Click the edit ✏️ next to Close Out Notes.
Type your note, then click the save ✅ to keep it.
How to Add an Automatic Summary for Close Out Notes
Click the edit ✏️ next to Close Out Notes
Select Auto Generate Summary
