Asset Custom Fields in UpKeep offer a flexible way to tailor the information you track for your assets, aligning it with your organization's specific needs. These custom fields are essential for filtering, exporting, and generating detailed reports on your assets, helping you manage and analyze asset data more efficiently. 🛠️📊📋

Creating an Asset Custom Field

  1. Navigate to Settings in the lower left-hand corner of your account

  2. Click the “fields” tab at the top of this page

  3. Select “assets” note this is the only option at this time

  4. You will see a list of fields. Click the “create” button

  5. From here you will be able to choose what field type you want and give it a title!

  6. When done hit save

  7. You should now see this field in the list.

It will also now show on the Assets pages list as a column for viewing, and you will be able to view the field on the assets themselves.
