In Upkeep you have the option to filter down your assets list page and have it show you only the assets you would like to see. This is as easy as picking your filters and we show you the results!


How to Filter Assets in UpKeep

Filtering your assets in UpKeep allows you to quickly locate specific assets based on various criteria. Follow the steps below to customize your asset list and apply filters effectively.


Accessing the Asset List Page

  1. Navigate to the Assets tab from the left-hand panel.

  2. You will be taken to the Assets List Page, where you can filter and customize your view.


Customizing Columns

  • Click Columns to select which data fields you want to display.

  • Check or uncheck columns such as Location, Parent Asset, Date Created, ID, etc.

  • Rearrange columns by clicking and dragging the dots next to each column name.

  • Once customized, click outside the Columns menu to apply changes.


Sorting Assets

  • Click Sort to arrange assets by specific fields.

  • Select a sorting option, such as Name, Date Created, or Location.

  • Choose Ascending (A-Z, oldest to newest) or Descending (Z-A, newest to oldest) order.

  • The asset list will update automatically based on your selection.


Filtering by Location

  • Click on Location to filter assets by a specific location or sub-location.

  • Select the desired location from the list.

  • Click Save to apply the filter.

  • To remove the filter, click the X next to the selected location.


Using Advanced Filters

  • Click on Filters to access additional filtering options.

  • You can filter assets by:

    • Category

    • Area

    • Barcode

    • Status

    • Custom Fields (e.g., vendor, customer, service dates)

    • Date Created

    • Archived Assets (view assets that have been archived)

  • Enter relevant search criteria in the filter fields to refine results.


Resetting Filters

  • At any time, you can reset filters to restore the default asset list view.

  • You can also re-add columns if needed.
