How to Duplicate Work Orders

You can duplicate work orders if you are reusing a lot of the same elements and create new work orders more quickly!

Looking to create a similar Work Order? UpKeep allows you to duplicate existing Work Orders to save time and reduce manual entry. Duplicating a Work Order copies over key details like the title, description, tasks, assets, and location—making it easy to create repeat or similar jobs. You can then make any needed edits before saving the new Work Order.


How to Duplicate a Work Order - Legacy

  1. On the Work Orders section, select your desired Work Order.

  2. Click on the 3 vertical dots on the top right-hand side of the work order.

  3. Next, click Duplicate.

  4. Update existing details or add more details to the work order.

  5. Finally, once you’re done, click Update Work Order!


How to Duplicate a Work Order - New

  1. Select the desired Work Order

  2. Select the Option Menu (3 Dots)

  3. Select Duplicate

  4. Update any existing details and save your new Work Order
