Deletion is permanent, and deleted assets CANNOT be restored.
How to Delete or Archive an Asset in UpKeep
Managing your assets in UpKeep includes the ability to delete or archive assets. Follow these steps to remove or archive assets from your system.
How to Delete an Asset
β Note: Deleting an asset is permanent and cannot be undone.
Navigate to the Assets page.
Select the checkbox next to the asset(s) you want to delete.
To select multiple assets, check multiple boxes.
To select all assets on the page, click the checkbox at the top next to Name.
Click the Delete button.
Confirm the deletion. The assets will take a few moments to be removed.
Once processed, the deleted assets will disappear from the list.
β³ Tip: If deleting multiple assets, allow extra time for the process to complete.
How to Archive an Asset
Archiving is a better alternative to deletion, as it allows you to retain historical data and restore the asset if needed.
Open the asset you want to archive.
Click the three-dot menu in the asset details.
Select Archive.
Viewing Archived Assets
Go to Filters on the Assets List Page.
Select Archived to display all archived assets.
Archived assets can be restored if needed.
