The Request Portal gives you a URL that you can distribute to internal/external users or third party users since this is intended for people who don’t log in to the UpKeep app!
No login is required for the Requester, but an email address is needed to submit the request. This allows Requesters to be notified of the status of their work request. Check the last section of this article on how the public request portal might be used for a request.

Request Portal URL
To find your Work Request Portal URL:
Navigate to the Request Portal section.
Select Copy URL to share the URL with your team.
If you want to change the URL, click Customize URL
Click "Edit Public Request Forms Items" to customize what questions are optional, hidden, or required.

Request Portal Email
With the Request Portal, your company will also have an email address that you can distribute to team members/customers outside your UpKeep team.
This email will be notifications+[YourID]@onupkeep.com.
The subject line of the email will become the work order title, and the body of the email will become the description.
Keep in mind that no Location or Asset will be set on the request.
To find your unique Email Address:
Navigate to the Request Portal tab
Select "Copy URL"
If you wish to change the email address ID, select Update Email ID
Purchase Order Request Portal
Only available on Business Plus - You’ll have the ability to receive Purchase Order Requests from technicians and users outside your team.
To find your Purchase Order Portal
Navigate to your Settings Tab on the left side of your UpKeep menu.
Under the Modules section, click "Purchase Orders"
Click on "Public Request Portal"
If the portal is not enabled toggle the button on until it's highlight blue.
Click "Customize URL" to change the end of the URL
Purchase Order Forms are not customizable at this time
⚠️ Purchase Orders are not available on UpKeep's Mobile Apps.
FAQs about Public Request Portal
Can I use the internal request form and external at the same time?
Yes, both can be used at the same time. Keep in mind that in-app users are able to communicate on the request they submit where external requesters cannot.

Can the request portal be used without requiring an email to submit a request?
No, an email is required to submit a request through the portal. This ensures the request can be tracked and maintains the integrity of the submission.
What if a user no longer needs access to our portal URL?
UpKeep recommends change the URL link to ensure that user is no longer able to submit request.
