How to Create, Edit, and Remove Custom Part Fields

Learn how to use custom fields on Parts

Updated over a week ago

Custom fields allow you to track additional information specific to your Parts. You can create fields for details like Manufacturer, Vendor, Manufacturer Part Number (MPN), Serial Number, Warranty Expiration Date, Voltage, Amperage, Compatible Equipment, Storage Location, Minimum Quantity, Reorder Threshold, Cost Center, or Model Year β€” or any other information your team needs to manage inventory more effectively.

Once created, custom fields automatically appear on all existing and new Parts in your account.

This article explains how to create, edit, and remove custom fields for Parts.
