The AI Checklist Generator helps you quickly create sample checklists tailored to your asset type. This tool is ideal if you're starting from scratch or need inspiration for setting up routine inspections, maintenance, or safety procedures.
Click “Add Checklist”
From your Checklists list view, click “Add Checklist.”
Choose how you want to build it
You’ll see four options:Start from Blank
Use Template from the Template Library
Upload via CSV
Use the Smart Checklist Builder
How Smart Import Works
Enter your prompt or use voice input
Type or speak what you want the checklist to include (e.g., “Preventative Maintenance for Freezer”).
Select an asset (optional)
Upload files (optional)
Supported file types:PDF
PNG / JPG
CSV
Excel
You can say things like:
“Follow this PDF step-by-step.”
“Use this file as a general reference.”
Click “Generate”
Smart Import will build your checklist based on all the info provided.
What Happens Next?
Review and edit the checklist as needed
Click Save to add it to your checklist library
You can now assign it to Work Orders or Preventive Maintenance Triggers
