In UpKeep You have the ability to add Barcodes to Assets and Parts and create Scannable QR codes. At this time UpKeep supports UPC and QR codes for Assets and Parts. This provides you the ability to easily locate and pull up Assets and Parts details with out the need to search for them by using just your phone camera! No special QR code software required :)
All you need to do is add the Barcode number, to the barcode field on the Asset or Part you want to create a QR code for and UpKeep will generate the QR code for you.

Quick reminder on printing QR codes for assets
Download AND Generate (this will create a barcode and QR code for any asset that does not have one already)
Download Labels (this will only download assets that ALREADY have a barcode number in the Barcode field)

Downloading and generating a QR code for your parts and inventory WILL AUTO ASSIGN a barcode to ANY part that does NOT already have a barcode assigned to it.
