With our preventative maintenance module, you can easily create repeating work orders over a given frequency (daily, monthly, annual, etc).

Now you have the ability to pause or resume a PM trigger to account for seasonal usage, periods of extended downtime or for any reason which may need to pause work orders from being generated.

If you need to end one of these PM triggers to stop creating future instances, you can do so by setting a end date to it or archiving it.

How to Pause Preventive Maintenance Schedule

NOTE: Paused PM triggers will remain visible in the Preventive Maintenance list view. All future open work orders will be deleted at time of Pausing.

Pausing your PM will account for remaining time baseline at time of Resume, e.g. If a 100 day inspection is paused after 50 days, at the time of Resume, there would be a remaining 50 days until it is due.

  1. Navigate to the Preventive Maintenance section in the left hand menu

  2. Click into the trigger you need to Pause

  3. Click on the Pause button

  4. Confirm the action by selecting Pause Trigger

How to Resume Preventive Maintenance Schedule

  1. Navigate to the Preventive Maintenance section in the left hand menu

  2. Click into the PM record you need to Resume

  3. Click on the Resume button

  4. Confirm the action by selecting Resume Trigger

How to End Preventive Maintenance Schedule

  1. Navigate to the Preventive Maintenance section in the left hand menu

  2. Click into the PM record you need to edit

  3. Click on the Edit Trigger button

  4. Next, look for the Ends On field

  5. Then, click on it and select the date you'd like to stop it from the calendar dropdown

Any work orders with a scheduled due date past the date you select will not be triggered.

How to Archive a Preventive Maintenance Record

NOTE: Archived PM triggers cannot be unarchived, if you will need this PM to be used again, please Pause the PM trigger instead.

  1. Click into the trigger you plan on archiving

  2. Next, click on the 3 dots button

  3. Finally, select Archive!

You can also archive multiple triggers at the same time by using the multi-select function.

You can also check the box of any PM from the PM List View, then an option at the top will show Archive.
