UpKeep Analytics' asset reporting provides a concise breakdown of maintenance costs and key metrics like mean time between failures. This data helps identify breakdown root causes and maximize asset lifespan, preventing costly disruptions. πŸ“ŠπŸ› οΈπŸ’°πŸ•’πŸš€

The reports included with Assets are:

  • Reliability dashboard

  • Total maintenance cost

  • Useful life

⚠️It may take an 1-2 hours to see any new changes reflected in the data for Analytics


How to Use the Reports

  1. Start with your filters

  2. Each report will have different filter options

  3. Once your filters are applied, click on the Reload button to refresh the report

  4. Now that your page is refreshed, you can view the tiles/charts/graphs.

How to Export your Report

  1. Hover your mouse cursor over any available tile/chart/graph

  2. Click on the 3 vertical dots, then click Download Data

  3. Choose your file format for the download (TXT, Excel Spreadsheet, CSV, JSON, HTML, Markdown, PNG)

  4. Finally, click Download to save the file to your computer!

Reliability Dashboard

In the Reliability Dashboard, you gain insights into asset performance and associated downtime, including total asset downtime, availability percentage, and downtime events. The top ten assets and their unplanned downtime percentages are visible. Filters provide a comprehensive view of asset categories with the most downtime, and an aggregate percentage available chart showcases top asset availability percentages. πŸ“ŠπŸ› οΈπŸ•’πŸš€


Total Maintenance Cost

Total maintenance cost provides an overview of your maintenance spending. It displays total maintenance cost as a percentage of Revenue (Rav), along with the total maintenance cost and total purchase cost. This snapshot reveals your savings from preventive maintenance and costs incurred due to downtime. It specifically examines work order costs tied to each asset.

Leverage filters to focus on downtime costs related to high-value assets and perform root cause analysis. πŸ“ŠπŸ’°πŸ”πŸ› οΈπŸš§πŸ“‹

πŸ’‘Total cost as % of RAV: Total cost as % of RAV is equal to (cost of work orders on asset/purchase price)*100. Industry-standard is a target value of 3% for this metric.


Useful Life
