Exporting Data in UpKeep EHS

Exporting data from UpKeep EHS allows you to create offline reports, meet compliance requirements, and analyze safety trends. You can export Safety Events, CAPAs, OSHA logs, Agency Reports, and Access Point usage data into CSV files for further review in Excel, Google Sheets, or other tools.


Export Limits

  • A maximum of 500 records can be exported at one time.

  • Only the first 500 records matching your current filters will be included in the export.

  • To capture more than 500 records, apply filters (such as date range, location, or status) and export multiple files.


Exporting Safety Events

  1. Go to EHS → Safety Events.

  2. Apply any filters for Status, Type, Severity, Location, or OSHA Reportable (optional).

  3. Click the Export icon in the top-right corner.

  4. A CSV file will download containing all visible columns, including linked assets, locations, and associated CAPAs.

Tip: Filtering your list first ensures your export is focused and easier to analyze.


Exporting CAPAs

  1. Navigate to EHS → CAPAs.

  2. Apply filters for due date, status, or assigned user (optional).

  3. Click Export in the top-right corner.

  4. The export includes CAPA details, linked Safety Event IDs, due dates, priority levels, and verification status.


Exporting OSHA Logs

  1. Go to EHS → OSHA Logs.

  2. Select the form you want to export (300, 300A, or 301).

  3. Apply any necessary filters (e.g., date range, location).

  4. Click Export to download the CSV file for ITA submission or posting requirements.


Exporting Agency Reports

Agency Reports allow you to share required incident data with regulatory bodies (e.g., OSHA) for immediate reporting.

  1. Navigate to EHS → OSHA Logs → Agency Reports.

  2. Use filters to locate the incidents or events you need to include.

  3. Click Export to download the report in CSV format.

  4. Submit the file according to your agency’s reporting requirements.


Exporting Access Point Usage Data

  1. Navigate to EHS → Access Points.

  2. Select the Usage Analytics tab (if available for your account).

  3. Apply filters for location, date range, or QR code.

  4. Click Export to download a CSV containing:


Best Practices

  • Filter first to avoid reaching the 500-record limit unintentionally.

  • Store CSV exports in a secure shared drive for audit readiness.

  • Export OSHA logs and Agency Reports promptly to meet compliance deadlines.
