Are you experiencing any errors or weird behaviors in UpKeep such as blank pages or 404 error messages? Try some general troubleshooting tips below.
In most cases, these tips will help but there are always unique situations or circumstances.
If these tips still don't help, definitely reach out to our Technical Support team! You can open a new chat message or email us at [email protected]!
1 - Try signing out and back into your UpKeep account.
Sometimes, a quick log-out will resolve your issue!
2 - Try switching to a different browser.
We recommend Google Chrome if possible as UpKeep tends to run smoothest on Chrome. However, you may have network or browser settings that are causing an issue. Internet Explorer tends to cause the most issues!
3 - Try clearing your site data (cookies & cache).
Instructions included below are for Google Chrome:
On your browser toolbar, click More > More Tools > Developer Tools.
After the pane opens, click the “Application” tab.
If you don’t see the option, click the “>>” icon to reveal any hidden tabs and then click “Application”.
Under Application, click into the 'Clear Storage' section
Click Clear Site data
After you click “Clear Site Data,” all data stored on your computer for that site will be deleted, and you will be signed out immediately. In order to re-access your account, you will need to log in to the website with your login information.
4 - Whitelist UpKeep domains!
This is most likely for blank pages or trouble opening UpKeep even though your network is connected to the internet.
Your IT department needs to make sure the following domains are whitelisted to prevent issues: "onupkeep.com", "app.onupkeep.com" "gw.onupkeep.com" "api.onupkeep.com" "assets.onupkeep.com" "requests.onupkeep.com" "analytics-api.onupkeep.com" "assets.onupkeep.com" "looker.onupkeep.com".
If a wildcard can be done i.e. "*.onupkeep.com", that is best.
TIP: Definitely make sure your mobile app is up-to-date on the latest version of UpKeep. Older versions of UpKeep may cause issues!
1 - Force close the app entirely.
Then open it again. This may help as a quick fix.
2 - Sign out of your UpKeep mobile app, then log back in!
3 - Delete the app, and reinstall a fresh version of UpKeep.
There may have been some bad or corrupted data somehow that is causing a problem.
4 - Session time out error? Reset your password!
