How to Edit your Location Information

How to make any changes to your Location information

You can edit any existing location in UpKeep to update its name, address, parent location, or assigned team, customer, or vendor. This guide covers how to make these updates on both the web app and mobile app.


Editing a Location on the Web App

  1. Click Locations from the left-hand navigation menu

  2. Search for or scroll to the location you want to update

  3. Click on the location name to open its details page

  4. On the location profile page, click the Edit button near the top right

  5. Make any needed changes, such as:

    • Name

    • Address, City, State, Zip

    • Parent Location

    • Assigned Team, Customer, or Vendor

  6. Click Update Location to save your changes


Editing a Location on the Mobile App (iOS & Android)

  1. Tap the Locations tab.

  2. Search or scroll to find the location you want to edit.

  3. Tap the location name to open its details.

  4. Tap the three-dot options menu (β€’β€’β€’) in the top-right corner.

  5. Select Edit Location from the menu.

  6. Make your changes to fields such as:

    • Name

    • Address

    • Assigned Team, Vendor, or Customer

  7. Tap Save to confirm your updates.
