Changing the Default Language on iOS (iPhone and iPad):

  1. Open Settings: Locate and tap on the "Settings" app on your iOS device's home screen. It's usually represented by a gear icon.

  2. Scroll to General: In the Settings menu, scroll down and tap on "General."

  3. Select Language & Region: Within the General menu, find and tap on "Language & Region."

  4. Choose Preferred Language: Tap on "iPhone Language" (or "iPad Language") at the top. You'll see a list of available languages.

  5. Select New Language: Choose the language you want to set as the default. You may see a prompt asking if you want to change the language; confirm your choice.

  6. Restart Your Device: After selecting the new language, your device might prompt you to restart it. If not, it's a good idea to restart it manually to apply the language change.

Changing the Default Language on Android:

  1. Open Settings: Open the "Settings" app from the app drawer or by pulling down the notification shade and tapping the gear icon.

  2. Navigate to System: Scroll down and find the "System" option. Tap on it.

  3. Select Languages & input (or Language & Region): Depending on your device and Android version, the wording might differ. Look for "Languages & input" or "Language & Region" and tap on it.

  4. Add a Language: Tap on "Languages" (or a similar option) to view the list of languages.

  5. Add or Change Language: If your desired language is already in the list, simply tap on it to select it as the default. If not, tap on "Add a language" and choose the language you want.

  6. Reorder Languages (Optional): Some Android devices allow you to reorder your preferred languages. This determines the priority of languages for various apps and features.

  7. Set as Default: After selecting the language, you might be prompted to set it as the default language. Confirm your choice if prompted.

  8. Restart Your Device: To apply the language change across the entire system, it's a good idea to restart your device.

Please keep in mind that these steps are based on general instructions, and there might be slight variations depending on your device's make, model, and software version.
