Send reminder email when work order is due between specific dates

In the restaurant industry, managers and employees will be scheduled on a weekly or monthly basis. With these dates at hand, UpKeep admins can set workflows to ensure the appropriate manager is notified when the due date for a work order is during one of their shifts. This saves the admin time by not having to send manual reminders to their managers and they can rest assured work orders are being taken care of.

IF Work Order is created > AND Work Order Due Date is between > THEN Send Work Order Reminder Email

Assign user when request is submitted between certain hours

Our Restaurant Managers aren’t working 24/7 and they shouldn’t have to. When managers are off shift, they utilize this workflow to ensure their assistant manager or the point person during their off-shift hours receives an immediate notification when a request is submitted. Once this workflow has been enabled, our managers never have to worry about requests falling through the cracks when they’re off the clock.

IF Request is created > AND Request created time is between hours… > THEN Assign to User

Assign team when category is assigned to work order

In restaurants, you have employees that are responsible for different tasks such as the hosts, waiters, and cooks. Admins can create Teams within their Upkeep account to group their employees based on their responsibilities and utilize this workflow to notify each team when a work order has been submitted for their respective teams. Each team will receive notifications in real-time so they can take immediate action.

IF Work Order is created > AND Category is Damaged > THEN Assign Team to Work Order

Assign category to high priority work order

Data integrity is important as it empowers UpKeep admins to utilize reporting and have full insight into the issues that are occurring at their restaurants. This workflow ensures that all high priority work orders are categorized correctly and eliminates the possibility of error in categorization.

IF Work Order is created > AND Priority is High > THEN Assign Category to Work Order

Approve high priority requests

Restaurant managers utilize this workflow to eliminate the need for manually approving important requests. With this flow, if a request is identified as a high priority, the request will skip the line and immediately get approved. Managers save time and can rest easy knowing the important requests are being prioritized.

IF Request is created > AND Priority is High > THEN Approve Request
