Navigate to Safety Events
From the left-hand menu, go to UpKeep Safety and select Safety Events.Click "+ Create Safety Event"
Open the creation form to begin logging the event.Describe the Incident
Type a summary manually or click the AI voice assistant icon to dictate the incident description. The system will transcribe your recording automatically.Enter Required Event Details
âReport Type: Select Incident, Near Miss, Observation, or Customer Incident.
Title: Provide a concise summary (e.g., "Slip and fall near Production Line B").
Date and Time: Use the standardized picker to select the exact occurrence time.
Location & Assets: Tag the physical location and specific equipment involved.
Hazard Category & Severity: Classify the hazard (Electrical, Chemical, Ergonomic, Fall, Mechanical, Spill, etc.) and assign Low, Medium, or High severity.
Tag Collaborators with @Mentions
Type @Name in the event notes or comments to alert department heads, supervisors, or EHS personnel automatically.Attach Supporting Media & Submit
