Cycle counts are now available on the UpKeep mobile app for users on the Enterprise plan. This feature makes it easy to walk through your storeroom and count inventory directly from your mobile device

Cycle counts are only available on the Enterprise plan. If you’re interested in upgrading or want to learn more, reach out to our team and we’d be happy to walk you through what’s included.
All users on the plan can view cycle counts, but only paid users can perform them
You can only execute existing cycle counts on mobile
You can only create or close cycle counts from the web app
How to Access Cycle Counts on Mobile
Open the UpKeep mobile app on your iOS or Android device
Tap on the More menu
Select Cycle Counts
Select the cycle count you want to perform
Cycle counts must be created on the web app before they appear on mobile
How to Perform a Cycle Count
You can also:
Search for a part
Scan a barcode or QR code to find a part
Skip a part if it doesn’t need to be counted
Parts you’ve already counted will appear in a separate section
Can I Update a Count?
Yes — you can update any count before the cycle count is submitted
Just tap the part again (or rescan it), adjust the number, and tap Update
What Happens After Counting?
When all parts are counted, the status will show as Complete on mobile
The count will still be open until it's closed by an Admin in the web app
Only Admins can close cycle counts after reviewing them
Additional Notes
Available on both iOS and Android (make sure you’re using the latest version of the app)
Recommended workflow: Create the cycle count on desktop → Perform it on mobile → Close it on desktop

Answer: The system will notify you that the part is not eligible for counting in the current cycle and prompt you to scan another part

Answer: Yes, you can update counts before the cycle count is closed. Once closed, counts can no longer be edited
