Creating Preventative Maintenance schedules within UpKeep is absolutely core and critical to UpKeep.

At the end of the day we hope to see a transition from reactive maintenance to preventative, or even better, predictive maintenance for your team.

Step 1: Click the "+ Work Order" button to start a new work order.

Step 2: Fill out the work order details as much as you need to.

Step 3: Scroll to the "Repeating Schedule" dropdown. From here you can set the frequency at which it should repeat. If you want, in the fields directly above, you can also set a date on which it should start repeating and the date on which it should end as well!

We have a few different frequencies at which a work order can repeat including daily, weekly, monthly, and annually.

If you'd like to set it to repeat on specific days of the week you can also schedule that here too. Just set your due date and time and once you mark your frequency it will repeat at that interval and time.

When do repeating work orders get shown?

Past due work orders that have a due date in the past will always display. In addition, the next 1 additional work order that is upcoming will appear in your list.
