Meter readings help you track things like mileage, hours run, or cycles completed on your assets. Logging these readings keeps your records up to date and helps trigger maintenance based on real usage.
You can enter meter readings from the Meters section or directly through tasks on Work Orders.
In the Preventive Maintenance section, you can also use meter readings to automatically trigger Work Orders once a usage threshold is hit.
How to Enter in Meter Readings
Navigate to the Meters section.
Click on the desired Meter.
Finally, click Add Reading to save the meter reading!

How to Record a Meter Reading in a Checklist Task
You can assign your meter to a checklist task in a work order! As your team completes the work order, they can record a meter reading as part of one of the tasks.
Navigate to your work orders
Click on the work order to open it up
In the meter reading task, type in the field the new reading
Finally, hit Enter to save the reading or move onto the next task!
How to Record a Meter Reading Through Your Asset
Navigate to the Assets section
Click on the Asset the Meter is assigned to.
Then click on the Meters tab
Click on the Add Reading button
Type in the new reading and select the Meter Reading Date
Finally, click on Add Reading to record it!
