How to update the quantities for the parts in your Inventory Lines

When parts are added to Work Orders they are removed from your inventory. If you've got a restock in or removed any parts without going through a Work Order you can make an Adjustment on your Inventory Line. You can also Transfer parts across your inventory line as well as creating a Purchase Order. πŸ“¦πŸ”§πŸ“ŠπŸ“₯πŸ“€πŸ“


How To Adjust Part Quantities

  1. Find the desired Part within your Parts section

  2. Select the 3 option dots on the right side of the inventory line

  3. Select Adjust Quantity

Fields:

  • Adjust By: Enter the Amount you wish to adjust by

    • For Negative Amounts use minus sign in front of number -

      • Example to reduce by 5 you would enter in -5

  • Details: Let your team know why the adjustment is being made

  • Receipt: Attach your receipt to track the purchases


Transfer Parts Across Locations

  1. Find the desired Part within your Parts section

  2. Select the 3 option dots on the right side of the inventory line

  3. Select Transfer

Fields:

  • Origin Inventory Line: The Location that is sending the inventory

  • Destination Inventory Line: The Location Receiving the inventory

  • Transfer Qty: How many items are being transfered


Viewing your Adjustments History

  1. Find the desired Part within your Parts section

  2. Select the Adjustments Tab

  3. Select your Inventory Line

This will show parts that have been adjusted Manually as well as those from Work Orders, Transfers and Purchase Orders.
