Overview
UpKeep Fleet now includes a native Driver Experience within the mobile app. Drivers can complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIRs) directly in UpKeep. When an inspection item fails, a maintenance request is automatically generated—eliminating manual follow-up and connecting drivers and technicians within a single platform.

Tips & Best Practices
DVIRs are federally required for commercial vehicles—this feature helps maintain compliance without paper forms or external tools.
Encourage drivers to include photos for failed items. This provides technicians with immediate context and reduces back-and-forth.
Regularly review auto-generated maintenance requests to ensure issues are addressed promptly.
